Logos Geoservices’ mission is to provide world class services and advice to our clients and deliver logical and reasoned solutions to ground related issues.
Logos Geoservices was founded by Callum Duffy in 2012. Callum is a chartered engineering geologist with a love of the natural world and understanding its processes. He has a passion for adventure and working in extreme environments.
Logos is the principle of reason and judgement, it has its basis in greek philosophy and is one of Aristotle’s three modes of persuasion: Ethos – an ethical appeal, Pathos – an emotional appeal and Logos – an appeal to logic. In order to be of use geologists and ground engineering professionals must present specialist geological and geotechnical data and knowledge so that its reasoning and logical argument can be understood by non-specialists and its implications clearly communicated.
